Our Story …
We are really happy to announce that we're taking part in Mystery Box Rally in 2025!!
This not only allows us to contribute to a meaningful cause but also adds an element of adventure, and a unique way to celebrate the milestone birthday.
We will remember our loved ones who we have lost along the way, and cheer on those still fighting or who have won the cancer battle . We hope research finds a cure or improved treatment options for those who are living with cancer now.
A little about what we are doing !
Mystery Box Rally is one of the largest community lead fundraising events for Cancer Council in Australia having raised over $8 million in the last 12 years. This rally will have us driving a car that is 25 years or older along outback roads.
We will do approximately 2,500kms in 5 days. We set off from Broken Hill & return to Broken Hill 5 days later, each day in between is a complete mystery, we have no idea where we will be headed until just before departure the next morning.
In order for us to participate we need to raise $4,000 and every dollar raised goes to Cancer Council. We would very much appreciate it if you could donate, spread the word & help us on our journey, or even nominate as a sponsor.

Here's what I'm doing …
Mystery Box Rally is a 5-day challenge like no other. Participants drive 25+ year old cars along a mystery route, through some of Australia’s most stunning (and often rugged) landscapes, all in support of cancer research. It’s not a race—it’s a challenge and more importantly, a celebration of the power of community.
Yes, the cars break down, and yes, there are plenty of unexpected twists along the way, but that’s all part of the fun. The rally is designed to be a colourful and unpredictable experience, where teams travel in small groups, helping each other along the way. And when the day’s drive ends, we gather around the campfire, share stories, and reflect on the day’s achievements.
This event brings together people who have been impacted by cancer in different ways—whether it's through their own battles or through loved ones. Together we’ll make memories that last a lifetime while supporting the fight against cancer.
